The Karachi Kings captain David Warner has responded strongly against a former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja regarding allegations of a viral video of his team-mate Moeen Ali in Pakistan Super League 11.

It happened following the five-wicket victory of Karachi Kings over Rawalpindiz at the Gaddafi Stadium.

In the video it was seen that Warner was pointing and moving towards Moeen Ali in the post-match handshake, and the team director Haider Azhar seemed to be hustling him back.

After watching this video people online had the opinion that the two players were fighting.

But the allegations were rejected by Warner who added that the situation had been misunderstood. Going to social media, he explained that there was no fight and that the incident was a case of simple team banter.

He has pointed out that the spectators have no context and clarified that the team management usually shakes hands after the match.

Haider Azhar also denied the rumours, staying consistent with the explanation given by Warner along with stating that the two players were joking against each other, and not arguing.

The explanation came after a tense finish to the game when Karachi had to get five runs in the last over. Moeen Ali was also dismissed by a LBW on the first ball, which put a momentary strain until Abbas Afridi won the match for Karachi Kings with a six.

Warner who had earlier anchored the chase with a vital half-century, was being humorous after the win, which might have served to add to the misunderstanding.

At the same time, there was yet another viral video depicting Warner during fielding, leading to the claim that Warner was taunting the other team.

This too he refuted, asking the fans to avoid making conclusions on seeing a few pictures.

Although he clarified it, both videos are still spreading at a fast pace.
