Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets have arrived in Saudi Arabia under the joint strategic defence agreement signed between the two countries.
The Saudi Ministry of Defence announced the arrival of a military force from Pakistan to King Abdulaziz Air Base in the Eastern Sector.

The Pakistani force consists of fighter and support aircrafts belonging to the Pakistan Air Force. The deployment aims to strengthen joint military coordination, enhance operational readiness between the armed forces of both countries, and support security and stability at both the regional and international levels.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had signed a Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement on September 17, 2025.
The deal strengthens their long-standing defence ties. It was signed by Shehbaz Sharif and Mohammed bin Salman during the prime minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia.
Under the agreement, any attack on one country will be treated as an attack on both.
Officials say the pact formalises defence cooperation that has existed between the two countries for decades.
