While addressing the media in Karachi alongside Nasir Hussain Shah and other officials, Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that development projects are currently in progress throughout the province, with the inauguration of Shahrah-e-Bhutto scheduled for May.
He mentioned that advancements are being made on roads, hospitals, and various other development initiatives in Karachi, emphasising that efforts are underway to tackle the city’s traffic challenges.
He asserted that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is executing record development work in Sindh.
Sharjeel Memon indicated that should the federal government reach out regarding a constitutional amendment, the issue would be presented to the party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC) for deliberation.
The senior minister also noted that the groundbreaking ceremony for the Taj Haider Bridge is set to occur in May.
Sharjeel Memon remarked that while his administration is dedicated to development efforts, their opponents are engaged in disseminating propaganda.
Concerning the suggested constitutional amendment, he reiterated that the matter would be brought to the CEC if the federal government makes contact.
He stated that discussions would only begin once the draft of the constitutional amendment is made available.
