ISLAMABAD: Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry briefed students on the ongoing social media propaganda and the ground realities in a special session.
DG ISPR visited Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad and held a special session with teachers and students.
During the visit, the DG ISPR shed light on the internal situation, country’s defence and the professional role of Pakistan Army. He also informed the students about the ongoing propaganda on social media and the real facts in this connection.
The teachers and students highly appreciated the arrival of DG ISPR at the university.
The Vice Chancellor of the University said the DG ISPR remained true to his words when he stated that the world will see our response if India resorted to any misadventure and then the world witnessed the response of the armed forces. He said Pakistan’s armed forces defeated not only India and its army, but also its technology.
The students of the university said we are Pakistani and Pak Army is ours. They said we stand with the armed forces of Pakistan and salute them.
DG ISPR session with Convent of Jesus and Mary, Beaconhouse, and Roots School Systems students
Earlier, DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held a special session with students and teachers from various educational institutions to discuss current affairs and military matters.
The session, which included students and faculty from the Convent of Jesus and Mary, Beaconhouse, and Roots School Systems, provided an opportunity for open dialogue on Pakistan’s operational military matters and internal security situations.
During the meeting, the principal of the Convent of Jesus and Mary School expressed gratitude for the sacrifices made by Pakistan’s armed forces. Both students and teachers shared their thoughts, with many expressing their honor at the opportunity to engage directly with the military leadership.
Students voiced their pride in the armed forces, emphasizing their readiness to make the ultimate sacrifice for the safety of the nation.
The ISPR DG took the time to address the importance of understanding current affairs from an informed perspective, stressing the dangers of propaganda and misleading information on social media. He urged the students to critically evaluate the news they encounter, especially regarding harmful and deceptive content.
Teachers also reflected on the session, expressing their admiration for the resolve and courage of Pakistan’s military. They acknowledged the importance of standing against strategic arrogance from adversaries and praised the efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces in defending the nation.
At the conclusion of the session, the students expressed a clear understanding of the critical role the military plays in safeguarding the country from terrorism and maintaining national security.
