The profile picture of DG ISPR’s Twitter account has changed after a decade. The new image features the writings “Marka-e-Haq” and “Banyanum un Marsoos”.
The change has been made in connection with the observance of “Marka-e-Haq” on May 10, commemorating the success of Operation “Banyanum Marsoos” against India.
The new display picture prominently features the words ‘Marka-e-Haq” and “Bunyanum Marsoos,” symbolising what is being described as a major military victory.
This rare change to the DG ISPR account’s profile picture after years has attracted significant attention on social media, with many users viewing it as a reflection of Pakistan’s firm stance against the enemy and its defensive strength.
Pakistan has always sought peace, but peace cannot be built on the denial of facts, violations of international law, or unilateral actions. For lasting stability in South Asia, the peaceful resolution of all disputes, especially the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people, is indispensable.
Pakistan will continue its efforts to promote dialogue, diplomacy, cooperation, and peaceful coexistence in line with the purposes and principles of the UN Charter. This commitment was also reflected in UN Security Council Resolution 2788, unanimously adopted during Pakistan’s presidency in July 2025, which aimed to further strengthen mechanisms for the peaceful resolution of disputes.
