Pakistan’s electric vehicle (EV) market has a new high-performance entrant, the Dongfeng 007 All-Wheel Drive (AWD), a D-segment electric sedan that is being positioned as the fastest of its kind in the country. The model name is selected from China, where “007” is associated with speed, and the company says the car combines strong performance with everyday usability.
The Dongfeng 007 (AWD) was launched earlier in November 2025 by Chawla Green Motors at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2025. The car is priced around Rs1.39 crore. The Dongfeng 007 enters a competitive segment where buyers are increasingly weighing electric options against traditional petrol sedans.

Performance and charging
The Dongfeng 007 is powered by a 73.5 kWh battery paired with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. The engine comprises over 500 horsepower and 640 Nm of torque. The company claims a 0–100 km/h time of 3.8 seconds, while independent road tests suggest acceleration closer to four seconds.

The all-wheel-drive system helps keep the car stable during hard acceleration. Fast-charging support allows the battery to be charged from 20 to 80 per cent in around 18 to 26 minutes under ideal conditions.
Design and interior
The sedan has a low, aerodynamic shape with a reported drag coefficient of 0.209, lower than several well-known electric rivals. Its front design includes distinctive Light Emitting Diode (LED) daytime running lights and active cooling vents that open and close based on temperature needs.

Most functions are controlled through a central touchscreen, while a 19-speaker audio system includes speakers built into the driver’s headrest. The long wheelbase provides generous rear legroom, and the steering wheel features an antibacterial coating.
Driving and safety features
The car contains various security features. The suspension is tuned more for handling than comfort, keeping the car flat through corners but feeling firm over uneven roads.

Safety and assistance features include level 2 driver aids, a 360-degree camera system and an onboard recording function. With its mix of speed, technology and electric range, the Dongfeng 007 signals how quickly Pakistan’s automotive market is evolving.
