During the testing of the online registration system in Madhya Pradesh, a temporary nursing certificate was issued despite a donkey’s picture and fake documents
The use of modern technology and artificial intelligence in the medical field has become a common topic, but an incident related to India’s nursing registration system has emerged that has left everyone astonished.
According to Indian media, a temporary nursing registration certificate was issued in the name of a donkey in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. According to media reports, NSUI state vice president Ravi Parmar conducted an experiment to test the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council’s online portal and document verification system.
He uploaded a picture of a donkey as the candidate’s photograph on the portal, while also submitting fake documents without any genuine nursing educational qualification. Even more surprisingly, “Donkey Father” was entered in place of the father’s name in the application.
Despite this, after payment of the prescribed fee, the online system issued a temporary nursing registration certificate for the same application without any effective verification. After pictures and details of the incident went viral on social media, questions are being raised in India about the scrutiny of the nursing education and registration system.
According to the media report, after the matter came to light, the Madhya Pradesh Nurses Registration Council decided to temporarily suspend the registration process until additional verification measures are implemented.
