Accompanying the gifts was a thank-you note expressing gratitude to passengers for their patience and understanding. The message stated Dubai’s commitment to prioritising the safety and wellbeing of all citizens, residents, and visitors.
It is important to mention here that Dubai’s future is being questioned following reports of Iranian attacks that have affected the perception of security in the city.
According to foreign media reports, more than 1,500 drones and over 260 ballistic missiles have been seen over Dubai since February 28, 2026.
Although most of these threats were intercepted, the frequent sound of explosions has become a disturbing reality for residents. Dubai, located near the Persian Gulf, is now being viewed by some as less safe than before.
