Pakistani YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, famously known as Ducky Bhai, and his wife Aroob Jatoi have been indicted in the online gambling app case.
The YouTuber who recently achieved a big milestone and crossed record 10 million on his YouTube channel, has been in legal troubles.
Ducky Bhai, along with his wife Aroob Jatoi and other co-accused, have been formally indicted in a high-profile case of the alleged promotion of online gambling applications.
The case was heard by Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo in a Lahore court. The court indicted Ducky Bhai, Aroob Jatoi, and others after the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) submitted its challan in the case.
Ducky Bhai and the co-accused, including his wife, denied the charges and pleaded not guilty during the proceedings.
The NCCIA had registered the case against them for allegedly promoting unlicensed betting and gambling apps through social media platforms.
The court has now summoned witnesses in the case to appear on February 23 for further proceedings.
Ducky Bhai’s appeal
Popular YouTuber Ducky Bhai appealed before the court for access to his YouTube channel to meet his financial needs.
He appealed while appearing before the district courts in Lahore in a case related to promoting and encouraging gambling apps
During the hearing, he submitted an affidavit to the court.
Ducky Bhai stated in his affidavit that access to his YouTube channel should be restored. He said the NCCIA had raised objections to 17 videos and assured the court that no tampering would be done with those videos.
The affidavit further stated that the 17 videos would neither be deleted nor edited. He added that YouTube is his only source of income and that the lack of main access to his channel has caused serious financial difficulties for him.
The court has sought a reply from the NCCIA on the matter.
Legal troubles
Ducky’s troubles began in August when authorities arrested him at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport. The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency accused him of promoting unlicensed online gambling and betting apps, alleging his endorsements caused financial losses for the public.
He was placed under both physical and judicial remand while investigations continued under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and the Pakistan Penal Code. During detention, Ducky claimed he suffered both physical and verbal abuse while in custody.
Despite these challenges, Ducky has returned to YouTube, appearing in another viral post-jail vlog alongside Instagram-famous kids Moiz and Sami.
Ducky Bhai viral return
Pakistani YouTuber Saad-ur-Rehman, famously known as Ducky Bhai, made a comeback vlog after his release from jail and according to digital analysts estimate he may have earned Rs 1.5 to three million.
On Sunday, Ducky Bhai vlog titled “I am back from jail after 100 days” amassed millions of views within a few hours of its release and according to experts tracking online earnings his vlog likely generated $5,000 to $10,000, making it one of his strongest returns to YouTube after his release from jail on the charges of promoting gambling apps.
By 6:00 PM on 8 December 2025, the video had crossed 8.9 million views, marking his first major upload since his release.
His Vlog gave a detailed narrative of his alleged mistreatment in the custody of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency. He claimed he was slapped, verbally abused, and that large sums were withdrawn from his bank account while detained.
