Web desk: Earthquake tremors have been felt in different parts of Punjab.
According to reports, severe tremors of the earthquake were felt in Layyah, Karol Lal Aisan and surrounding areas late at night, after which people came out of their homes in panic.
Eyewitnesses say that the earthquake came suddenly and the ground shook for a few seconds.
The intensity of the tremors was so high that people were seen praying and reciting the Kalima Tayyaba at many places.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre, details regarding the intensity and depth of the earthquake are being collected.
Initial reports have indicated that the epicentre of the earthquake may be somewhere near southern Punjab; however, fortunately, no loss of life or property was reported.
