Emirates has issued a fresh advisory for passengers travelling through Dubai International Airport, urging them to carefully review their flight status and travel plans following the partial reopening of regional airspace.
In its latest update, the airline provided guidelines for travellers booked between February 28 and April 30, 2026, after widespread schedule disruptions. Emirates said that the safety and security of passengers and crew remain its top priority.
Here’s what you can do if your flight is disrupted
Rebooking options
Passengers can rebook on alternative flights to the same destination or within the same region until June 15, 2026. Those with bookings within 72 hours of their original travel date can make changes online through the Manage Your Booking section or the Emirates mobile app. Travellers who booked through agents are advised to contact them directly.
Refund process
Customers can request refunds by submitting an online form, with processing expected to take up to 21 days. Bookings made via travel agents must be handled through the respective agents.
The airline has advised passengers to check flight status updates before heading to the airport and to stay informed through its official travel updates page.
Emirates confirmed it is currently operating a reduced flight schedule and continues to monitor the situation closely. While city check-in facilities across Dubai remain temporarily closed, assistance is available at retail outlets and airport counters in Terminal 3.
Passengers are further encouraged to review any booking changes, confirm or modify travel plans within 72 hours, update contact details for real-time alerts, and reach out to the airline or their agents if needed.
Emirates also thanked passengers for their patience and cooperation during this period of limited operations, once again emphasising that passenger and crew safety remains its foremost priority.
Yesterday, Qatar Airways announced a revised flight schedule, with a gradual increase in operations to and from Doha.
The airline stated that its operations had been impacted by the ongoing Israel–US–Iran war, which began on February 28, 2026.
According to the latest update, valid until April 15, the airline has added more frequencies to over 90 destinations across its global network, following its previous schedule that remained in place until March 28.
All flights to and from Doha are continuing through designated air corridors established in coordination with the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority.
Passengers holding confirmed bookings for destinations included in the updated schedule will be contacted directly with revised flight details.
The airline said that schedules may still face changes or cancellations due to operational, regulatory, or safety-related factors beyond its control.
