The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has issued an advisory informing citizens that the F-6 Khidmat Markaz has been temporarily closed.
An ITP official stated that citizens requiring licensing-related services can visit alternative centers, including Traffic Headquarters Faizabad or the Asaan Sahulat Khidmat Markaz in G-9, to access the same facilities without inconvenience.
The public will be updated about the reopening of the F-6 Khidmat Markaz in due course. Citizens are advised to plan their visits accordingly and make use of other service centres for timely facilitation.
Services Available at Khidmat Markaz
The Khidmat Markaz provides a wide range of public services, including:
- All PKM services
- Driving license issuance and renewal
- Duplicate driving license issuance
- Fresh learner permits (motorcycle and motorcar)
- Duplicate learner permits
- Sign and road tests (motorcycle and motorcar)
- Character certificate issuance
- General police verification
- International driving license
- Endorsement of driving licenses
- Employee and tenant registration
- Vehicle verification
- Loss and crime reports
- Women violence reports
- Copy of FIR

Police Character Certificate
A Police Character Certificate is required for travel abroad, employment, immigration, and other official purposes. Previously a time-consuming process, it has now been simplified through PKM, allowing applications from any center across Punjab, regardless of the applicant’s current location.
Required Documents: Original CNIC or B-Form, passport (original and copy), affidavit, authority letter (if abroad), photograph (if applying for a relative), and submission by a blood relative if the applicant is overseas.
Processing Fee: Rs. 500, payable at PKM counters
Turnaround Time: 3 working days
Mode of Delivery: Courier
Citizens are encouraged to use these facilities at alternative centres until the F-6 Khidmat Markaz reopens.
