The Afghan Taliban official post had claimed that a “drug rehabilitation center” had been damaged. However, the allegedly AI generated post has since been removed.
Pakistan’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has exposed another instance of propaganda attributed to the Afghan Taliban regime.
According to the ministry’s fact-check report, questions have been raised over why an official social media handle deleted a previously shared post and video.
The initial official post had claimed that a “drug rehabilitation center” had been damaged. However, the post has since been removed, prompting scrutiny, the ministry stated.
The fact-check further questioned whether the clip was generated using artificial intelligence and failed to withstand verification.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting concluded that the Afghan Taliban appear to be retreating from what it termed “false and fabricated narratives.”
Omid Hospital lies exposed, images show no direct strike
On the other hand, the Afghan Taliban who spread lies and fake footage regarding the Omid hospital has been exposed.
Serious questions have emerged regarding the alleged rehabilitation of drug addicts.
Why were containers holding these individuals, whether patients or otherwise, placed in close proximity to ammunition storage?
Latest images show no evidence of a direct strike. Instead, the widespread burning appears to be the result of ammunition detonation and subsequent secondary explosions, reinforcing the claim that no direct strike occurred.
Furthermore, reports revealed that the actual Omid Hospital is located miles away from the affected site.
