The Lahore Board has announced the commencement of the paper rechecking process for students who are not satisfied with their marks or examination results, immediately after the announcement of the Intermediate Part II annual examination results for 2026.
According to the Lahore Board, students will be able to submit applications for online rechecking from September 24, while the last date for submitting applications has been set as October 8, 2026. Students wishing to have their papers rechecked will have to submit their applications online within the stipulated period. The board has also activated a dedicated online rechecking portal for this purpose.
According to board officials, a fee of Rs1,300 per subject has been fixed for the rechecking of any subject’s paper. Students can submit online applications for one or more subjects by paying the prescribed fee.
According to the results released by the Lahore Board, a total of 189,373 candidates appeared in the Intermediate Part II examinations, of whom 123,060 candidates passed, and the overall success rate remained above 64 per cent.
According to the results’ statistics, a large number of candidates could not pass the examination, following which information regarding the rechecking procedure and deadline has become important for students and parents.
The Lahore Board has clarified that applications for rechecking will be submitted online. Students will have to correctly select their desired subject while submitting the application. On the board’s official rechecking portal, details such as the student’s roll number, name, father’s name, subject, and examination group are entered. Students will be informed about the date and time of rechecking through email and mobile phone.
According to the board’s online system, students have also been instructed to provide an active email address and mobile number while submitting their rechecking applications so that they can receive timely information regarding the date and time fixed by the board.
The Lahore Board has directed students to submit their rechecking applications within the stipulated period, as the deadline set by the board for receiving applications will expire after October 8.
Meanwhile, the board’s online results system is also active, where candidates can check their Intermediate Part II 2026 results by entering their roll numbers.
Thus, following the announcement of the Intermediate Part II results, students have a limited period to get their papers rechecked, during which they can participate in the board’s rechecking process by submitting online applications along with the prescribed fee.
