Veteran Pakistani actor and film star, Faisal Rehman has revealed the reason that why he didn’t feel the need to marry despite being associated with a number of actresses in his long career of over four decades now.
In a podcast with Ahmed Ali Butt Faisal Rehman discussed openly various aspects of his life including being an actor, personal life, and activity on social media.
During the conversation the actor shared some personal thoughts, giving fans an insight into how he perceives fame, relationships and the choices he has made throughout his life.
Despite being associated with a number of actresses in his long career, Rehman said he has always been at ease in staying single.
One of the most discussed friendships in his life has been with actress Babra Sharif whom he described as a close and long standing friend.
However, it is clear from him that the relationship between the two never resulted in marriage.
According to Rehman, he started meeting many people in his life over the years but not all of the relationships were genuine.
Some people were lured by his reputation as an actor, and others by personal purposes. In doing so, he stated that he never felt any pressure to marry until he actually felt a very strong emotional link.
“People came and went,” he said. “Some liked me being an actor and the novelty would wear off. Others were there to use me. “I only wanted to marry if the bell in my heart rang.”
Rehman also took a stand on his peculiar social media posts.
He said that he sees social media as a creative space where he can experiment and interact with audiences in ways that he wouldn’t have the opportunity to.
He stressed the posts are not accidental and are carefully designed to cause people to be curious and respond creatively.
Faisal Rehman started his career at a young age of 14 and quickly grew to become one of the biggest actors in the Pakistani cinema.
Over the years he has been a familiar name in the industry that has been admired, not only for his achievements on screen, but also for his frank personality and relaxed attitude towards life.
