How to get fancy number plate for your car from home in Punjab?

Registration for the auction of fancy vehicle numbers has started in Punjab, under which citizens can get the number of their choice for their vehicle from the comfort of their homes.

The registration for the auction of fancy numbers in Punjab has started through the e-auction mobile application and web portal, with the last date set for March 2.

The Punjab Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has developed this app in collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB).

Interested citizens can register online by March 2 so that they can get the fancy number of their choice for their vehicle from the comfort of their homes.

PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that with the introduction of the digital e-auction system, the traditional process of auction has been transformed into a modern technology-based solution.

He said that this initiative provides citizens with an easy, fast and transparent online facility to obtain fancy vehicle numbers.

According to Faisal Yousaf, the e-auction platform facilitates online bidding for a wide range of motorcycles, motor cars and commercial vehicles.

The details of successful bidders are also available on the e-auction app and portal.

KP to auction premium number plates again

Now, residents of Peshawar will get another chance to bid for a number plate of their choice.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Excise and Taxation Department has announced a fresh auction of exclusive vehicle registration plates, scheduled for February 14 at the Qayyum Sports Complex in Peshawar.

The move comes shortly after a successful earlier auction that attracted strong interest from buyers.

This round will feature 40 premium registration plates, many carrying names linked to tribal roots, regional pride and family identity.

Plates bearing names such as Dawar, Hoti, Shinwari, Waziristan, Mehsud, Jadoon, Marwat, Khattak, Qadri, Pashtun, Sheikh, Khyber, Raja and Awan are expected to draw heavy bidding.
