On Wednesday, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) revealed the results of the 2026 annual Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations.
Federal Minister for Education Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddique was the chief guest of the ceremony announcing the results.
The total number of students appearing for the matric annual examinations in 2026 is 292,831, the FBISE chairman said.
During the examination process, 86 cases of cheating were reported.
The board set up 1006 examination centres in the country. For the smooth conduct of the examinations, 2012 supervisory staff persons and 6996 invigilators were deployed.
In addition, 4,855 examiners were employed to mark the answer scripts and 10,706 teachers applied to be involved in the checking of answer scripts.
The students can check their results on the official FBISE website by using the roll number mentioned on the examination slip.

The candidates can check their results online by visiting the FBISE website, opening the results section, selecting SSC Part I First Annual Examination 2026, and then entering their roll number and clicking on the search or submit button.
The result card can then be viewed, downloaded or printed. Students are also requested to check their information such as name, roll number etc.
If you don’t have internet access you can check the results via SMS via the board. Students are required to type “FB” followed by a space, their roll number and send a message to 5050.
Later on FBISE will also publish the gazette of SSC Part 1 containing the results of all the affiliated schools and institutions.
By pressing Ctrl + F, students and schools can search the gazette by typing in a student’s roll number or name, which is helpful when they need to view a variety of results or when they don’t have a roll number slip.
