FIA opens pre-departure facilitation desk at Multan airport

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has fully operationalised a pre-departure facilitation desk at Multan International Airport to help passengers understand travel regulations and legal requirements before leaving Pakistan.

According to FIA Immigration, the facility is intended to provide guidance to travellers and help them avoid administrative difficulties during departure.

Passengers travelling abroad for education, employment, tourism or Umrah can visit the desk to obtain information about the applicable travel requirements before their flights.

FIA Immigration has advised travellers to have their travel documents checked in advance and ensure they comply with Pakistani laws and international travel regulations.

The agency said the initiative aims to make the departure process smoother by helping passengers address documentation and regulatory requirements before reaching the immigration counters.

FIA Immigration Multan said it remained committed to facilitating travellers while ensuring compliance with the law.

Interior Minister Mosin Naqvi has announced that with immediate effect the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has installed pre departure facilitation desks at all its zonal offices.

He said the desks will provide passengers with guidance on immigration procedures and clearance to ensure a smoother and more hassle-free travel experience.

The interior minister added that the facilitation service will also be accessible to travelers through helplines and email for personalised assistance.

He said further details will be available at airports, border crossings, and on the FIA’s official website.
