Web desk: Participants of the Cambrian Patrol competition called on Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi today.
The Field Marshal congratulated the team for their outstanding performance in one of the world’s toughest military endurance and leadership competitions.
He praised the participants for demonstrating exceptional physical endurance, tactical skill, and teamwork, reflecting the highest traditions of the Pakistan Army.
Field Marshal Munir appreciated the dedication and rigorous training of the team, noting that their success has brought pride to the nation and reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s commitment to excellence.
The participants thanked the Field Marshal for the honour and reaffirmed their commitment to uphold discipline, selfless service, and professional excellence.
Field Marshal Asim Munir Meets Turkish Energy Minister
Separately, ISPR said on Tuesday that Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar met Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
According to the military’s media wing, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including plans to expand cooperation between Pakistan and Turkiye in the energy sector.
They also talked about strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new areas for strategic partnership.
The army chief noted the long-standing and brotherly ties between the two countries and thanked Turkiye for its consistent support to Pakistan at international platforms.
Minister Bayraktar expressed Turkiye’s interest in deepening cooperation in the energy field and praised Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace, stability and development.
