Web desk: ISPR said on Tuesday that Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar met Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
According to the military’s media wing, both sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including plans to expand cooperation between Pakistan and Turkiye in the energy sector.
They also talked about strengthening bilateral relations and exploring new areas for strategic partnership.
The army chief noted the long-standing and brotherly ties between the two countries and thanked Turkiye for its consistent support to Pakistan at international platforms.
Minister Bayraktar expressed Turkiye’s interest in deepening cooperation in the energy field and praised Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace, stability and development.
Field Marshal Asim Munir, Egypt’s FM, Talk About Defence
Previously, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir met Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has said, “Field Marshal Munir and the Egyptian foreign minister emphasised the importance of continued high-level engagement between the armed forces of the two nations.”
Abdelatty visited Pakistan from November 29 to 30.

Following the meetings, DPM Dar said that Pakistan would provide Egypt with a list of 250 business enterprises, selected through a transparent mechanism for inclusion in Egypt’s “white list,” as both countries decided to enhance bilateral relations.
