FAISALABAD: A massive fire broke out in the cotton factory situated at Faisalabad-Narawala Bypass.
This sudden blaze took the whole building into flames and caused vast destruction.
According to the latest reports, the fire burned the machinery, raw cotton, and prepared goods, which cost millions.
Rescue Operation
Firefighters came to the scene and started their operation to control the fire.
It is said that the cause of the fire is a short circuit.
On the other hand, detailed investigations have been initiated to determine the real cause of the fire.
The rescue officials told the media that the firefighting operation was very difficult due to the combustible nature of cotton.
They added that the rescue team is still clearing the debris and cooling down the place.
Luckily, there have been no casualties so far, as per the rescue officials.
The Public Concern
The public is deeply concerned about their safety, as they told the media that such incidents occur routinely now.
Moreover, the authorities have strictly instructed the factory owner to follow the safety protocol to avoid such happenings.
In the meantime, the factory is closed, and the management is evaluating the overall loss of the company.
