13 Indian-backed Fitna Al Khwarij Militants Killed in KP: ISPR

Web desk: Thirteen militants affiliated with the Indian-backed Fitna Al Khwarij group were killed in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Province, as per the statement issued by the ISPR.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces and law enforcement agencies conducted a joint intelligence-based operation in the Paharkhel area of Lakki Marwat District. This operation followed reports of militant presence.

During the operation, troops engaged the militants in intense gunfire, resulting in the elimination of ten extremists.

Another intelligence-driven operation was carried out in Dera Ismail Khan District, where three militants were neutralised in a subsequent firefight.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain militants. These had been involved in attacks against security forces, law enforcement personnel, and civilians.

Sanitisation operations are ongoing to locate and eliminate any remaining militants in the area.

The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam.” As approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, the plan aims to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.

4 Fitna Al Khwarij Militants Killed in KP: ISPR

Before this, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that four militants affiliated with the Indian-sponsored group Fitna Al Khwarij were killed in multiple security operations across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on 17-18 November.

An intelligence-based operation in Bajaur District resulted in the elimination of one militant following an intense exchange of fire with security forces.

Two more militants were neutralised in separate operations in the Spinwam and Zakir Khel areas of North Waziristan District.

Another encounter in Dera Ismail Khan District led to the death of a fourth militant.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, who were actively involved in a range of terrorist activities in the region.

Security forces continue to conduct sanitisation operations to eliminate any remaining militants in these areas.

The operations are part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, aimed at eradicating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
