Five cases have been registered over the use of foul language on social media against the First Lady and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari. The five cases have been registered in Ghotki, Pano Aqil, Mirpur Mathelo, and Ubauro.
Five cases registered over foul language against Aseefa Bhutto
The police authorities confirmed that the cases have been registered against a man named Azam Chachar. Sindh police also confirmed that Azam Chachar is a government servant and a social media activist.
The police officials also confirmed that Azam Chachar used foul language against First Lady Aseefa Bhutto on social media.
Attack on Aseefa Bhutto’s vehicle
It is pertinent to mention that on May 24, 2025, some Sindhi nationalists attacked Aseefa Bhutto’s vehicle near Jamshoro Toll Plaza. After the incident, police had also registered cases against the Sindhi nationalists who attacked Aseefa Bhutto’s vehicle.
The video footage of the attack on Aseefa Bhutto’s vehicle went viral on social media.
Aseefa Bhutto’s car was stopped on the M9 motorway while travelling from Karachi to Nawabshah.
Several Sindhi nationalists were protesting on canal issues when they stopped Aseefa Bhutto’s car. However, the Jamshoro police registered cases against 16 known individuals and 60 unknown individuals.
The above case was registered for rioting, blocking the road, and interfering in the government. The police had initiated action to arrest the rioters.
Aseefa Bhutto – a prominent politician
Aseefa Bhutto Zardari is a prominent leader of the PPP and the daughter of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari. Aseefa Bhutto Zardari is currently a member of the National Assembly. It is important to mention that Aseefa Bhutto Zardari was elected unopposed from NA-207 Shaheed Benazirabad-I constituency.
