ISLAMABAD: According to the fog update of the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), there is no fog on the Motorway currently.
This new version is a blessing to most of the daily travelers. The major routes in the country are now covered with clarity.
The PMD released its most recent motorway fog report. It confirms the absence of fog in any major sector.
This covers the M1, M3, M4, and M5 motorways. There is a free flow of traffic between Peshawar and Lahore. The whole route is still active.
On the other hand, National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) affirmed that M-2 will remain closed between Thokar Niaz Baig to Kot Sarwar, due to heavy fog.
There is also great visibility on the M5 between Multan and Sukkur.
Furthermore, M-11 remains transparent with zero fog, while M-14 also offers evident travel.
Therefore, the Government is encouraging every driver to drive cautiously.
Severe fog frequently interferes with the use of motorways in winter. Such circumstances tend to impose constant shutdowns and postponements.
The lack of visibility greatly limits movement among big cities. Thus, the existing clear spell is a huge boost to the national commerce.
Lawmakers encourage every driver to keep track of the prediction. Drivers should be ready for any winter weather change.
But the clear conditions nowadays can guarantee easier and faster travelling.
Police encourage every traveler to drive safely. The whole network of motorways now provides the movement without any problems.
