In a new update, Forza Horizon 6 is now planning to gift all players a free car, 2021 McLaren Sabre after a Credits exploit was brought to light due to the shutdown of the game’s online Eliminator mode.
After a money-spinning glitch was discovered where players could earn 999,999,999 Credits by accessing Forza Horizon 6′s Eliminator mode online, Playground Games expressed sympathy by offering a free in-game car.
It is important to note that players who exploited this issue will have their excessive funds taken away, and their balances will be capped at 10 million.
On the other hand, some players have tried to clean their Credits by purchasing cars and reselling them at auction, adding an interesting twist to the story.
It is unclear when the Eliminator mode will come back to Forza Horizon 6, but when it does, players can find their new McLaren Sabre in the in-game Message Center under the Gifts tab.
Forza Horizon 6 update
Forza Horizon 6 has also released a new update, introducing many bug fixes and improvements to the game.
However, Playground Games has made major changes to the XP of the game needed to progress in Horizon Play, with players at Level 25 or higher experiencing a noticeable boost in their rank. Those who reach Level 32 will quickly move up to Level 100.
On the bright side, drag tyres have also seen a reduction in their performance.
Previously, they lowered a car’s Performance Index (PI) but provided enough grip for racing in other events, giving players an interesting tuning edge.
