Web desk: The Russian government has announced a fully funded scholarship for Pakistani students, under which Pakistani students will be able to pursue Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD studies in various universities in Russia.

Under this scholarship program, students will be able to get a full tuition fee waiver and a monthly stipend as well.
However, the scholarship does not cover travel or daily expenses. The last date to apply for the scholarship is January 15, 2026.
Applications can be submitted through the official website, www.education-in-russia.com.
In Pakistan, the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Karachi is the authorised nominating institution for this program.
To be eligible, the applicant must be a Pakistani citizen applying for a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program and must have the required academic qualifications for the selected course.
Application Procedure
- Online Registration: Visit education-in-russia.com, create an account, and enter your personal details.
- Program and University Selection: Choose your subject and academic level (Bachelor, Master, or PhD).
You can select up to six Russian universities in order of preference. Once submitted, the choices cannot be changed.
What are the required documents?
Bachelor’s: Passport, Intermediate certificate (HSSC/A Level/DAE), 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets, signed consent form, and signed application form.
Students graduating in 2026 must provide a school confirmation letter and 10th and 11th-grade results.
Master’s: Passport, Bachelor’s degree, full transcript, signed consent form, and application form.
Students graduating in 2026 must attach available mark sheets and a university confirmation letter.
PhD: Passport, Master’s degree, full transcript, research thesis, list of publications, recommendation from a Russian university, and a signed consent form.
All documents must be uploaded to the portal. Make sure the status shows “Submitted” and not “Draft.” Only one subject can be selected per academic level.
The selection process includes a review of documents, a portfolio check (research work, awards, sports achievements), and a creative test for specific fields.
Selected candidates must submit additional documents by January 15, 2026, after passing the first stage.
