DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The funeral prayers of the personnel martyred in the terrorist attack on the DI Khan Police Training School were offered at Police Lines, in which a large number of citizens including Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, Chief Secretary, IG Police, civil and military officials participated.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur paid tribute to the martyrs and said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has always set an example of courage, sacrifice and duty.
He announced that in addition to the special package for the martyrs, the families of each martyred personnel will be given Rs 10 million and the injured personnel will be given Rs 5 million.
In addition, a reward of Rs 1 million was also announced for the soldiers and officers who showed bravery in the operation.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that the sacrifices of the police are unforgettable and the provincial government will continue to fully cooperate with the security forces to eliminate terrorism.
The Chief Minister said that the establishment of law and order is the top priority of the government. Practical steps are being taken to eradicate terrorism from its roots, while the path of unity, dialogue and consensus has been adopted at all levels.
He said that special packages have been introduced for the welfare of the police and modern resources are being provided to increase the capacity of the force.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that we salute the courage and determination of the police force, their bravery and sacrifices will always be a source of pride.
