PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi revealed that his office has not received Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s resignation.
As per details, the KP governor while speaking to private media outlet said that his office can return Gandapur’s resignation if any constitutional or legal ambiguity is found in it.
Earlier, Ali Amin Gandapur has resigned as Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and sent his resignation to the Governor of the province, following instructions from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan.
Gandapur made the announcement on X, saying he acted in “respectful compliance” with the party leader’s orders.
In his message, Gandapur said that when he took office, the province was facing serious financial problems and threats from terrorism.
He credited his cabinet, party members, workers, the bureaucracy, and the guidance of Imran Khan for helping him bring financial stability and counter militancy.
Gandapur said his government also initiated major development projects in the province, which had previously been considered a warzone.
He thanked all colleagues, opposition members, and bureaucrats for their support and said he always served with sincerity in the best interest of Pakistan.

Prior to this, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar told media representatives that Gandapur had been instructed to resign by Imran Khan.
Gohar said he was not authorised to accept the resignation himself and that Gandapur would submit it to the Governor. He added that Gandapur had left Islamabad for Peshawar to complete the process.
