Pakistani nurses with recognised diplomas or degrees can apply for nursing jobs in Germany.

This verification is a mandatory first step.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must also show German language skills at B2 level or higher. Some may need extra training or equivalency exams.
The bureau does not recruit or license workers for Germany. It also does not charge any fees for advice or guidance.
Pakistani professionals should avoid unregistered agents and fake mediators.
They should only use official German government platforms and verified sources for information in order to get work done properly.
Recognition includes reviewing academic qualifications, nursing experience, and training.
The Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment said Pakistani applicants with recognised diplomas or degrees can apply.
It is important that they complete the qualification recognition process required under German rules first
Soft skills certification
The government of Pakistan has made soft skills certification compulsory for people seeking overseas jobs in European and Gulf countries, according to an announcement made by the Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment.
This compulsion will take effect from January 2026.
How to apply
Interested individuals can use the OIC App PakSoftSkills or the official online portal: https://softskills.oec.gov.pk/
It has been advised that individuals use only the official app or portal for obtaining the certificate.
Additionally, it is not mandatory for those who have already had a protector. But it is only mandatory for new protectors, the Bureau clarified.
