Gold and silver prices in Pakistan saw a slight decline today.
The price of gold per tola fell by Rs100 to Rs460,236, while the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs85 to Rs394,578.
The international price of gold also fell by $1 to $4,377 per ounce.
Silver prices also declined alongside gold. The price of silver fell by Rs69 per tola to Rs7,100, while the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs59 to Rs6,087.
In the international market, silver was priced at $66.22 per ounce.
Along with gold and silver prices, petrol prices have also decreased in Pakistan.
Reduction in petrol prices
The federal government has decided to reduce the prices of Motor Spirit (MS) petrol and High-Speed Diesel (HSD) for the next three days.
The price of petrol has been reduced by Rs1.65 to Rs389.14 per litre, while diesel has become cheaper by Rs0.88 to Rs424.04 per litre.
According to the Petroleum Division’s notification, the new prices will be applicable from September 19 (Saturday) to September 21 (Monday). According to Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the increase is primarily linked to higher petrol and diesel prices in the international market.
On Thursday, the price of petrol was reduced by Rs0.43 to Rs390.79 per litre, while the price of diesel was increased by Rs3.47 to Rs424.92 per litre.
