Higher Education Commission has opened the registration portal for the Law Admission Test (LAT) for admissions to undergraduate LLB degree programs.
The HEC has made the LAT test mandatory for students across Pakistan seeking admission to law degree programs.
According to the official statement, aspiring candidates have been advised to complete their registration for the LAT test within the given deadline. The registration portal will remain open until May 25.
The statement further said that the LAT test for admission to the LLB degree program will be held on June 21. Only students who pass the test will be eligible for admission to five year LLB programs offered by universities and law colleges across the country.
The Higher Education Commission has also advised students to obtain all relevant information regarding registration and the test in time and submit their online applications before the deadline to avoid any inconvenience.
PMDC imposes new conditions for MDCAT entry test 2026
Earlier, PMDC announced new conditions regarding the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) entry test.
According to the details, the MDCAT has made biometric verification of students mandatory in the entry test to be held this year.
In addition to this, the M&DC has instructed students below the age of 18 to make a Juvenile Registration Card or Smart Card for Minors issued by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) prior to the examination.
Candidates without a valid Juvenile Registration Card or a valid CNIC will not be allowed to participate in the entry test.
