Google’s parent company Alphabet, has introduced Gemini 4 Argon, its latest artificial intelligence (AI) model.
The new AI model is designed to handle a wide range of tasks, including coding, research and writing.
The company has described Gemini 4 Argon as its most powerful AI model to date.
According to Google, cybersecurity is the model’s most distinctive capability.
The new AI model has initially been made available to a limited group of the company’s cybersecurity partners.
In a blog post, the company said the AI model had been trained to work on defensive cybersecurity tasks and could automatically identify and fix software vulnerabilities.
Argon has also been described as highly capable for coding. According to the company, its employees are using the model for everyday tasks such as debugging and codebase migrations.
The blog post said the AI model can handle complex, lengthy tasks and could transform the way people work.
Google was previously considered to be lagging behind some competitors in the AI race, but its Gemini platform has been gaining momentum rapidly.
In August, the company announced that the number of people using Gemini had surpassed one billion.
