The Punjab government has launched a new initiative under which it is distributing Rs10,000 per family to deserving individuals this Ramzan 2026. Citizens can now receive the amount without a ration card, with only their original CNIC required.
How to receve Rs10,000 from govt?
Under this initiative, you can now easily receive Rs10,000 without a ration card with this method.
Citizens are required to carry their original Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) to receive the amount.
According to details, the Punjab government has started distributing Rs10,000 per family to deserving individuals under a social security programme during Ramzan.
This step has been taken keeping in view the financial difficulties faced by low income and middle class families.
The Chief Minister (CM) of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, has confirmed that the financial assistance has been transferred to the accounts of eligible beneficiaries.
According to an official statement, the condition of having a ration card has been removed this time.
This is so that more deserving people can benefit from the assistance without complications.
How to receive the money?
All citizens who are registered under the Punjab Social Security Scheme and have received a message from the Bank of Punjab regarding the payment can withdraw the amount.
- You have to carry your original CNIC to receive the payment.
- Provide the mobile number that has been registered in the scheme to the bank representative or agent.
- Show the six digit code that you have received from the bank to complete the verification process.
Citizens can withdraw the amount from nearby HBL Konnect, UBL Omni, or Alfa Pay agents.
After completing biometric verification, that is the thumb impression, with the agent.
The money will be provided and a confirmation message will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Authorities have advised the citizens not to share their PIN code or any confidential information with strangers to avoid any kind of fraud.
