According to him that heavy transport unions have confirmed the implementation of this support initiative as part of broader public facilitation measures during the holy month. The move is being described as a policy step aimed at easing daily travel for fasting individuals throughout Ramzan.

Punjab government to provide free transport during Basant
Earlier, a step was also taken by the Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz where she mobilised all the relevant institutions to ensure safe Basant celebrations for all, she announced free travel during Basant.
The Chief Minister had stressed that the provincial government was determined to revive Punjab’s cultural traditions while prioritising public safety and security.
During the three days of Basant over 500 buses were provided free travel facilities.
