Guinness World Records name Sultan Muhammad as new record holder

The Guinness World Records (GWR) has named stuntman Sultan Muhammad Golden as a new record holder. Certificates are in the process of being dispatched and will be received by February 20, 2026.

Sultan Muhammad, on December 13, 2025, set a new record by completing a one-mile reverse drive in just 57 seconds. It is important to note that the previous record for the stunt had been set by an American stuntman in 2022 at one minute and 15 seconds.

The stuntman returned to the track to set another world record by completing a reverse ramp jump over a remarkable distance of 121.72 feet.

Sultan Muhammad surpassed the previous record for a long distance reverse ramp jump which stood at 89 feet and 3.25 inches.

Sultan Muhammad Golden

Sultan Muhammad Golden is a motorcar and motorcycle stuntman and hails from the Pishin district near Quetta, Balochistan. He is renowned for the sport of reverse motorcar jumping.

Sultan Muhammad has set multiple national and international records in stunt driving. In 1987, he jumped over a total of 22 cars at a distance of 249 feet, setting a new world record.

During another stunt performance, Sultan Golden reverse jumped at a distance of 150 feet over 15 cars. He has received attention from both national and international stunt-driving communities.
