According to journalist Gharidah Farooqi, highly credible sources have confirmed that terrorist Hafiz Gul Bahadur was killed in aerial strikes conducted in Argun, Khost on the night of October 17–18, 2025.
Several members of his Shura (council) were also reported killed, and Bahadur was secretly buried the same night.
Gharidah described the operation as a major counter-terrorism success and a decisive blow to militant networks threatening Pakistan, declaring it a significant step toward ensuring national security.
