RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister Hanif Abbasi harshly condemned the PTI founder today. He spoke to the media in Rawalpindi, attending a local university event.
Abbasi stated that the former Prime Minister poses a grave security threat to Pakistan.
He sued the PTI founder and his team, holding them responsible for the root cause of chaos. Furthermore, he stated their chase of power consistently threatens the national interest.
Abbasi stressed that national interest must always prevail over politics. He warned that the state will drag back those spreading anti-Pakistan language.
The Minister confirmed that Pakistan stands with friendly nations like China and Turkey. Ultimately, he promised that traitors would face justice once the security threats were clear.
The government maintains a firm stance against anti-state elements.
Legal Challenges of PTI Founder
The PTI founder faces multiple security and legal challenges today. Specifically, he is currently incarcerated in several high-profile cases.
These include the sensitive Cipher Case related to state secrets. Moreover, the May 9th violence severely impacted state buildings and public property.
Abbasi reminded the nation that the Pakistani people stand firmly with the armed forces.
He stressed that the founder continues to spread widespread negative propaganda. Consequently, this activity targets state institutions on social media platforms.
Abbasi linked the founder’s actions directly to external enemies. For instance, he cited a letter the founder allegedly wrote to the IMF.
Significantly, Indian officials also sought to stop financial aid for Pakistan. Abbasi argued this similarity reveals a common anti-Pakistan mindset between the two.
He warned that those who alienate Pakistan’s friendly nations commit a national crime.
