The HAT and UCAT tests according to HEC will be conducted on April 19 under HEC’s supervision.
Important guidelines have been issued by the Higher Education Commission Pakistan for teachers and students regarding the eligibility for foreign fully funded scholarships and admissions.
It has been advised to the candidates to score well in these tests. Only the candidates who secure high scores will be eligible to apply for international scholarship programs.
It was stated by the commission that foreign funded scholarships are regularly funded by it through diplomatic channels. This enables Pakistani students to pursue studies abroad.
Such offers are offered annually. The purpose of them is to support the academic growth of Pakistani students and also provide international exposure for students.
Under HEC’s supervision the HAT and UCAT tests will be conducted on April 19.
Students and the faculty members have been cautioned by the HEC to rely only on authentic and verified sources and information regarding the tests and scholarships.
Applicants have been advised to avoid any fraudulent or unverified scholarship opportunities circulating through unofficial sources.
It was also emphasised by officials that strong performance in HAT and UCAT are prerequisites for applying for most foreign scholarship opportunities. The candidates are encouraged to prepare accordingly to improve their chances of selection.
In another positive development the Punjab government has introduced new subjects for religious minorities.
These minorities will now not have to choose between Islamic studies and General ethics but can study their own religions.
This is a very positive step as it aims to include all the religious minorities. The subjects will be on Christianity, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism and more.
As of now this development is only in Punjab’s public and private institutions.
