What IT jobs has the PAA announced vacancies for?
The vacancies include five positions: Assistant Director / IT Network Engineer, Assistant Director / IT Operations Engineer, Assistant Director IT (Technology Transformation), Assistant Director IT (Cyber Security) and Assistant Director IT (Software Development).
Candidates applying for most positions must have a minimum of 16 years of education and a BS or BE degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Communication, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
Applicants must have at least a second-division degree. For the Technology Transformation position, candidates with a BBA in Business Analytics or Information Technology are also eligible.
Each position has one vacancy under the merit quota and falls under the EG-01 pay scale, ranging from Rs56,280 to Rs168,880 per month.
The Punjab government has also announced new job opportunities in the Department of Tourist Services (DTS) under the Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department.
