Pakistani actors Humaira Bano and Usman Peerzada have responded to rumours circulating on social media about an alleged marriage between them. Both actors have rejected the claims and clarified that the reports are false.
The speculation began after Humaira Bano recently shared news of her marriage with her followers. She announced her marriage on Instagram in August but did not reveal the identity of her husband. Some pages and YouTube channels linked her with veteran actor Usman Peerzada.
Some online claims even alleged that Usman had divorced his wife, actress Samina Peerzada, before marrying Humaira.
Usman Peerzada rejects the rumours
Usman Peerzada addressed the matter during an appearance on Nadia Khan’s morning show, Rise & Shine. He rejected the reports and said people spread false information online to attract views.
The veteran actor said the rumours had led concerned fans contact him.
Usman also revealed that he had spoken to Humaira Bano and her actual husband about the controversy. According to him, they laughed about the rumours together. He added that false reports about his divorce had circulated many times before.
Humaira Bano also dismissed the marriage rumours during a conference video call involving Usman Peerzada and Uzma Tahir.
Humaira Bano and Usman Peerzada have worked together professionally. Both were part of the cast of Geo Entertainment’s drama ‘Mehshar’, alongside Imran Abbas and Neelam Muneer. They also appeared in the cast of ‘Baray Bhaiyya,’ which premiered in 2025.
