IESCO Feb 5

The residents of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Attock will face a planned power outage on Kashmir Day, scheduled for February 5, 2026. The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has released a maintenance schedule for construction-related work on several 11kV feeders.

According to the official shutdown schedules issued by IESCO, there will be no outages linked to annual maintenance on the day. All listed shutdowns are tied to construction and system improvement work.

Islamabad areas

In Islamabad, several sectors and commercial areas will experience outages between 10:00am and 1:00pm. Affected localities include Ghauri Town (Phase VIP and Phases 1 to 3), Garden Town, Bilal Town, Razzaq Valley, Shakeryal, and parts of G-6, including Aabpara and Melody Markets.

Rawalpindi areas

In Rawalpindi, multiple feeders under the Westridge division will remain shut at different times.

Village Nogazi and areas along Fateh Jang Road will face outages from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Meanwhile, residents of Shalimar Town and Top City should expect longer interruptions, from 9:00am until 2:00pm.

Attock areas

In the Attock operation circle, power supply will be suspended in the feeders of Hassan Abdal and the surrounding localities. Electricity will remain unavailable from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in Khawaja Nagar, Sakhi Nagar, Cadet College, and the Lorry Base due to work on the Hassan Abdal feeder.

Furthermore, at the Saray Kharboza feeder, the electricity will be out from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Areas including Dhok Abbasi, Turkabad, Golra Colony, Johar, Sarai Kharboza, and Dhok Kathrian will be affected because of construction activity on the Sarai Kharboza feeder.

IESCO advises consumers to plan routine activities accordingly and says the supply will be restored immediately after completion of work.
