IESCO schedules power outage on March 28, 2026

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced planned power suspensions in several areas on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply in parts of Rawalpindi and surrounding regions will remain temporarily suspended at different hours of the day.

The company said the outages are necessary to ensure system improvement and reliability.

Areas affected in Rawalpindi

In the Rawalpindi City and Cantt circles, power will be suspended from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm in areas linked to feeders, including Benazir Bhutto Hospital, Tehmasamabad, Dhok Hukamdad, and RIC.

Additional outages are scheduled in areas such as Satellite Town, Tench Bhata, and Chaklala due to construction work on 11kV feeders.

IESCO has advised residents to plan accordingly, adding that electricity may be restored earlier if work is completed ahead of time.

Outages in Attock region

Separate shutdowns are also planned in Attock and nearby مناطق. These include areas such as Sarae Kharbooza, Shah Allah Ditta, Tarnol, and Fateh Jang, where supply will be suspended between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, depending on feeder schedules.

Under the Grid Station Operations (GSO) Circle, power will remain suspended from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132kV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang and Kahuta City–Palandri.

Another outage from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm will affect New Wah and nearby areas.

IESCO has apologised for the inconvenience and said efforts are being made to complete work quickly.

Consumers are advised to take necessary precautions during the outage period.
