The player auction list for the fifth season of the DP World International League T20 (ILT20) has been released. Pakistan star batter Babar Azam is among the major names included in the list.
The auction will take place on October 1 at the ICC Academy in Dubai. More than 200 players from 23 countries will take part in the auction.
Players have been placed in three base-price groups. These are $80,000, $40,000 and $10,000.
$80,000 category
The top category includes Babar Azam along with several well-known international players.
The list includes Phil Salt, Tom Banton, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Wanindu Hasaranga, Faf du Plessis, Liam Livingstone, Alzarri Joseph, Fakhar Zaman, Naseem Shah, Moeen Ali, Jonny Bairstow, Alex Hales and Chris Woakes.
The $40,000 group includes Shadab Khan, Ibrahim Zadran, Jayden Seales, Tabraiz Shamsi, Sharaf Islam, Kusal Perera and Gulbadin Naib.
The $10,000 category features Reeza Hendricks, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, George Munsey, Ish Sodhi and Matthew Potts.
Players from the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia will enter the auction with a base price of $10,000.
ILT20 squad rules
Each team will have the right to use a Right to Match option for one former UAE player.
Every franchise must have at least 18 players in its squad. The maximum squad size will be 23 players.
The playing XI for each match must include at least two UAE players and two Afghan players. It must also include one player from another associate nation.
Each team has been given a different amount for the auction. MI Emirates will enter the auction with the biggest purse.

Babar has become the second Pakistani captain to score 7,000 runs as captain. Former captain Misbah-ul-Haq was the first Pakistani to reach this mark.
Babar played an important role in Pakistan’s fightback against England. He shared an 89-run partnership with captain Shan Masood for the fourth wicket. Babar completed his half-century in 76 balls.
