Earlier this week, Imad Wasim announced his remarriage through an Instagram statement, claiming to love his children. However, according to her wife, the cricketer had shown little regard for their children.
Sannia Ashfaq’s reaction
Imad’s first wife, Sannia Ashfaq, accused the all-rounder of infidelity and “murder” for allegedly getting their child aborted.
Ashfaq alleged that their marriage ended under deeply distressing circumstances. “In December 2023, he got my child aborted in Lahore. He’s a murderer, and I have a video that proves it. He cheated on me,” she wrote, urging followers to boycott Islamabad United for continuing to include “a murderer and a cheater” in its lineup.
Sannia also shared screenshots of chats in which she asked Imad to come and see their soon-to-be-born baby. Imad, however, reacted coldly, asking her not to contact or harass him.
Imad got married to Sannia in 2019, and has three children with her.
Last year, when Sannia gave birth to the couple’s third child, Nyla’s picture with Imad sparked cheating rumours online.
The issue escalated further when a viral video appeared online allegedly showing Imad with a woman in London.
Many speculated that the woman in the video was Nyla Raja, though she later publicly denied those claims.
