Imran Khan Will Not Have Any Political Meetings In Future: Faisal Vawda

Web desk: Senator Faisal Vawda, reacting to PTI founder Imran Khan’s meeting in jail with his sister Uzma Khan, has said that Imran Khan will not have any political meetings in the future.

According to details, speaking on a private TV program, Senator Vawda said that if the sisters of the PTI founder bring political messages to him, such interactions will be considered political meetings.

He warned that if this practice continues, restrictions could also be imposed in that regard.

Faisal Vawda further stated that instead of attending the funeral of a martyred military officer, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (CM KP) visited the US Consulate.

He stressed that positive work should be prioritised. He also added that the current KP Chief Minister should focus on his responsibilities, while the governor should also perform his duties and serve the province.

‘If someone wants to pursue politics based on bullying and coercion, then the option of Governor’s rule is right there,’ he stated.

Vawda maintained that the KP Chief Minister must carry out his duties and clear the political path. He reiterated that he had already predicted there would be no uprising on November 26, saying he wants a political solution for all stakeholders.

The senator added that those who have not been held accountable in the past 75 years will not suddenly face accountability in the next 75 years either.

He said the ‘Army Chief is present, the command lies with him,’ and the matter pertains only to a notification which could be issued today, tomorrow, or the day after.

He also clarified that the Chairman of the Defence Force has no involvement in politics.

Responding to reports regarding a possible Governor’s rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Vawda said it could indeed be imposed if “misdeeds” continue.
