Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah has today said that the concerns of Opposition Leader Raja Nasir Abbas about the health of PTI founder Imran Khan are not correct.
What is the latest update regarding Imran Khan’s health?
Speaking during a Senate session, Rana Sanaullah said that the information collected about Imran Khan’s health did not confirm the concerns raised by the opposition leader. He further said that Imran Khan’s eyes had been examined by doctors from PIMS and Shifa Hospital.
Is Imran Khan facing blood pressure problems?
Rana Sanaullah said that the health information received so far did not show any issue with Imran Khan’s blood pressure that could support the concerns raised by the opposition leader.
He also said that under the rules, the court is responsible for a person who is in judicial custody. According to him, if there is any failure in providing medical treatment, then the responsibility lies with the court or those who have the person in their custody.
Rana Sanaullah also said that the doctors suggested by Imran Khan’s family were not included in the medical team.
He again stated that Imran Khan’s eyes were examined by doctors from PIMS and Shifa Hospital.

‘PTI rejects claims that Imran Khan is sick’
Previously, rumours had been circulating on social media that Imran Khan has been under treatment in jail.
Gohar Khan rejected these reports. In a post on X, he said he checked the matter with the relevant people and found the reports to be false.
In the post, the chairman, denying the rumours, said, “After confirming with all relevant people, I am refuting on social media those reports circulating over the past few days that Khan Sahib has been under treatment in the jail hospital due to high blood pressure or any other illness—I have also informed the family.”
Earlier, Imran Khan faced a vision problem in one of his eyes. He later received treatment and underwent a medical procedure in Islamabad.
In April, Bushra Bibi also reported a vision problem in her right eye. Prison authorities arranged an examination by eye specialists. She later underwent surgery.
