Imran Khan is not being moved anywhere, says Adiala Jail officials

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan will not be transferred anywhere, confirmed the officials at Adiala Jail.

Sources within the jail rejected every news of a possible transfer as mere rumor. The PTI founder remains securely confined in Adiala Jail. Officials ensured that he was getting complete care and attention.

A five-member medical team from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) Hospital recently visited the Jail to carry out his medical examination. Jail sources assured that the PTI founder is healing completely.

Authorities also reaffirmed his security and food receives proper attention. Officials state that no discussions are currently taking place regarding his transfer from Adiala Jail.

This official statement contradicts earlier reports. Those reports suggested the government was considering transferring the PTI founder.

Prime Minister’s Coordinator Ikhtiar Wali had previously commented on the issue.

Wali claimed the PTI pursues an agenda to destabilise the country. He alleged the party attempts to cause unrest through protests.

Wali also stated that the PTI wants the prisoner transferred. He confirmed the government was seriously considering the move.
