ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Senator Talal Chaudhary said that the entire life of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan is full of scandals.
In a video message, Talal Chaudhary said the public is well aware of PTI’s political contributions and witnessed the party’s current condition at its Peshawar rally. There was no discussion about any developmental project in the Peshawar rally; it was nothing but criticism.”
He stated that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is facing multiple challenges, including terrorism. Talal Chaudhary accused individuals who reached power “on someone’s shoulders” of now indulging in baseless allegations against state institutions.
“The PTI founder has never spoken about martyrs, yet he targeted the army that defeated the enemy in the battle of truth,” he said. He further stated that the PTI founder has never condemned India or Israel and it is the party’s habit to criticize state institutions.
“How long can their statements and criticism be ignored? They do not even deserve a response,” Talal Chaudhary said, adding that he now feels ashamed for once inviting PTI for dialogue.
PTI Leaders on DG ISPR statements
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leaders also admitted that Imran Khan’s repeated derogatory posts on X against the military led to a strong reaction from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.
“When we do it so consistently, again and again, what would we expect from the other side?” a senior PTI figure told the media.
He added that if one starts counting, “maybe a hundred times harsh language was used against the military command from Khan’s X account during the last two years.”
DG ISPR Presser
On Friday, ISPR Director General (DG) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that a single man’s narrative has become a threat to national security.
While addressing a press conference, DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said, “We do not want to become part of politics.” He also highlighted respect for all political parties and reaffirmed that the army does not carry the flag of any political party.
Without naming Imran Khan, he said that one person has become a threat to national security and believes, “If I am not here, nothing exists.” He emphasised that the Pakistan Army works solely for national security and does not represent any political agenda, ethnicity, or political ideology.
He added that the uniform is a source of pride and honour, while some individuals are prisoners of their own ego.
The DG ISPR recalled how Imran had been “spinning this narrative by trying to stop remittances to Pakistan so that the country defaults.”
