Imran Khan’s Sister and Lawyer Meet Him in Jail

Web desk: Imran Khan’s sister Uzma Khan and his lawyer Salman Safdar met the PTI founder in jail after the prison administration granted permission under jail manual rules.

According to details, the meeting was allowed on the condition that no political discussion or activity would take place during or after the interaction.

Officials said this condition was necessary to ensure compliance with jail regulations.

The prison administration’s decision comes after days of uncertainty over family and legal access to Imran Khan.

PTI nominated Uzma Khan and Salman Safdar for the meeting, which has been described as a sensible step in line with the conditions set by the authorities.

Sources said the jail administration has made it clear that family and lawyers will continue to receive meeting permissions only if there is no political activity or statements following such interactions. Otherwise, the decision may be reviewed.

His sister also stated that Imran Khan’s health is completely fine.

Indian Media

Before this, rumours about former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s death resurfaced. And some Indian media outlets started spreading unverified claims about the PTI founder.

An account on X, named Afghanistan Times, claimed that Khan had been “mysteriously killed” and that his “body has been moved out of the prison,” according to reports in Indian media. These false claims have been widely circulated, fueling misinformation.

This is not the first time such speculation has emerged about Imran Khan.

Analysts say certain Indian media repeatedly propagate unverified rumours, exaggerating events in Pakistan to create misleading narratives and portray instability.

Observers note that this type of reporting undermines credibility and highlights a recurring pattern of sensationalism in some sections of the Indian media, which often prioritise attention-grabbing stories over verified facts according to observers.
