In Nushki, an attempt by Indian-backed terrorists to sabotage peace in Kili Rehman was foiled, according to the reports on Friday. Two terrorists were killed, while two others were injured.
According to the sources, security forces launched an immediate operation after receiving reports of a blockade that had been set up by Indian-backed terrorists. This resulted in the killing of two terrorists and injuries to two others.
The terrorists escaped using labourers as human shields and abducted four Sindhi workers. Security forces have cordoned off the area, and a search operation is underway, sources said.
Security forces kill 9 Khawarij in Bannu operation
A joint intelligence-based operation (IBO) was carried out by police and security forces in the nearby village of Shad Khan Kalla, Jani Khel area of Bannu, on Thursday.
According to the details, the forces targeted a militant hideout after receiving secret information about the presence of militants.
During the operation, 9 Khawarij were killed, and 1 was seriously injured, according to initial reports.
Security sources also said that the militants killed in the operation were involved in the recent attack on Fateh Khel Police Station and that they were already being tracked by security agencies.
A search operation continued afterwards in the area to find any remaining militants and their helpers.
Officials said the operation is being conducted under Operation Azm-e-Istehkam and the National Action Plan to remove militants and their support networks.
